Most people think that the Caveman created Petroglyphs of animals as a form of art, but they would be wrong. The real reason was when they got snowed in for the Winter they drew various animals on the cave walls to throw their hatches and chunk they spears at for Target Practice , think about it

Now I have to cross atlatl off the list

Made an atlatl once, & some darts out of river cane. Never could get a 10 shot group under Minute of Mastodon. Perhaps if I'd spent the winter practicing in my cave...
