Casting/ swaging

For those of us that can’t find dies, would it be practical to get a drill bushing for the die sleeve and have an ejector pin cut to make up the top and bottom ends of the die? Is a 9 mm bushing going to be close enough to .357/9mm that a machinist could lap it to size in a reasonable time?

I’m sure there is a lot I’m missing or Corbin stuff wouldn’t be so expensive - when it is in stock. McMaster-Carr has a press fit bushing with head (96977A332) for $23 and an ejecting pin (90224A183) for under $19. The pin is 100mm long, so it could be cut to make both ends of the swaging die. The only real art seems to be shaping the cavity to form the ogive in the nose.
