Cascading shop compressors for better Altaros function

Thanks for the kind words.

Heinrich,

I researched how to turn the pressure up. But of course that trips the 120 psi safety valve. I have ordered three 150 psi safety relief valves for all three compressors to take them 120 psi to 145-150 psi.

Of course being retired, and having too much free time, I have noticed that if I babysit the Cat compressors and cut the air supply to the booster for each replenishing Cat and turn it back on when the pressure hits and stops at 120 psi, the Cats replenish faster and stay cooler.

I researched valves to do that, stop and start air flow to the booster when replenishing, closest valve description I can find to do exactly that function is called a piloted unloader valve. Then I decided that is a wrong oath the piloted unloader valve is what helps cold start my compressors to empty the air. I would need 3 supply valve and open it once replenished then close, I would need a automatic ball valve.

At the prices I am seeing for auto control valves, I will do it manually, just another money pit.

I got two of the three CATS to 148/150 psi.
