Carrying Pellets While Hunting or Field Target with Springers

I was getting frustrated with needing 3 hands to hold the rifle and retrieve pellets from a tin, container, pouch and pocket. I had seen postings of pool noodles holding pellets on the scope and got the idea for this one. I made this pellet holder from automotive head liner and double sided tape.

Why not just use a pellet pen?

Tried that but like the foam holder better.

Very nice, I like it. I use a pellet pouch when I take my single shot pistols out to play. Will try something similar, thanks!

I made a copy of the holder and attached it to a counter top laminate sample. The intent was to make a key hole so it would hang from a button on my shirt. A nice option for someone that doesn't want tape on his wood stock. Having preferred the rifle mounted holder I didn't try that one and don't know what I did with it.

If you decide to make one, be careful of pinching the pellets to hard. I push my fingers into the foam a little and pinch the pellet just below the skirt.

For many years I used the typical pellet pouch that hangs around the neck with a shoe lace. It swings back and forth and side to side and never lost any pellets. Adjusted to thevright height it was always in the perfect place. Always lubed my pellets so the pouch kept them free of airborne dust and debris. Still use them today when I go for a shooting session. However always open to new ideas, just wouldnt wantvto mess up my awesome looking walnut stock.....

I have my pellet pouch on the chest strap of my FT harness.... Always there, easily accessible with either hand....

ONLY issue Ive had with it is NOT closing it after grabbing a pellet out, then getting up and bending over to collect my stuff out of the shooter's box....

Hear ya, that is why mine is long enough to swing out and back, havent lost any pellets....yet......!!!
