Carrying extra magazines

Whenever I acquire a new gun, one of the first things I do is buy extra magazines. I hate wasting my shooting time reloading magazines instead of shooting So recently when I got my first PCP, that is exactly what I did. Next, I figured I needed an efficient way of bringing them along with me. 

I make my living as an equestrian event photographer, and last year had picked up my first mirrorless camera and quickly discovered it was a real battery hog. Where previously, I could make a 12 hour event without a battery change, the mirrorless went though 3-4 batteries, so I bought a 4 battery belt pouch

Well, it turns out that the pouch works just as well for rotary magazines.

So I picked up one to dedicate to this task and thought I would share my idea with my new friends at Airgun Nation.

thats a decent solution .. what i think is these manufacturers need to quit being stingy with mags and give you 3 right from the start .. incorporate a magnet in them and a couple of flushmount reliefs in the butstock to stow them in .. viola ...make it happen ...

Nice solution. I agree that manufacturers need to give out more mags. FX, I'm looking at you. $50 for a little piece of plastic is a bit much.

It will never happen since it seems the PCP makers are following the powder burner makers on the mag issue. You get 2 if your lucky nowadays and if you want extra well that’s where the makers collect their bonus money accessories baby.

Other then an AR or a Ruger 10/22 has anyone ever carried an extra mag on a PB? Me? Nope. I use mags at the bench and that's about it. All my PB's (except AR) have a singe mag, or tube fed.

I use a pocket on my BDU shirt. Left top pocket for full mags, right top pocket empty

mags. . Left bottom pocket for pellets, right bottom pocket for rangefinder. Easy. I can carry 10 FX Royal mags in the pocket. That's about $800 so the pockets stay buttoned!
