CARM Daystate magazines and AirGunUniverse LDC's

Received 2 CARM .177 Daystate magazines. Seemingly very well made and they rotate smoothly. They are a bit narrower in width than factory Daystate mags but match front to rear dimension and bore alignment well. A nicely priced product that hopefully function as well as others have reported but visually they are impressive.

Received 2 different sizes of the "$27" LDC's from AirGunUniverse. They fit well and internally appear to be well baffled. I haven't shot with them yet. They do have some very slight felt flex when squeezed so I wonder how they would hold up to a higher power PCP. I don't know that they would stand up to use in the brush if they are contacted by large branches.

Update on the above items-

Carm magazines are great for pellets-perfect function. They didn't do as well with slugs-12.5 NSA's would shift and tilt in the magazine and I had a couple of feeding problems that did not occur with the factory mag. It seems that the o-ring holds pellets in position well but not as good for the tapered slug body. Possibly longer slugs might do well but the shorter ones didn't feed well in my versions of the Carm mags. Pellet function is great and they are 1/3 the price of the Daystate factory mags. Certainly can recommend these.

The AirGunUniverse LDC works well. No detectable difference on the Pulsar but it is already very quiet with just the shrouded barrel. The LDC did very well on the Condor. Still a bit of a pop but much quieter than without the LDC, and still intact after about 20 shots. Also an item I can recommend.
