Carette filter

Are you talking about the Alpha Filter?

If you are ... you plug in the Turbo Charger, set the timer for how often you want to purge the moisture. You put the in-line Alpha filter on the end of the hose exiting the compressor, attach it to the bottom of the filter. Attach the hose coming out of the cf tank to the top of the filter. I am assuming that you are filling up a large tank and not the air tank on your gun. Be sure that you have the Alpha filter standing straight up, not lying on it's side. You can attach the filter to the side of the Omega compressor with a bungee cord or anything else you might have that would lock in in place in a vertical position.

Sooo you have the air coming from the compressor into the filter and from the filter to your tank.

Set your timer on the Turbo Charger to purge every 15 minutes for about 2 seconds and you should be good.

Hope this helps

This is what I do. I have a valve on both sides of my filter. I fill my tank. Then back thru my filter backwards to blow moisture out of my filter inlet. With pressure still in the system, I close off the valves on both sides of my filter leaving a positive pressure in my filter. I then bleed my tank and my compressor. My thinking is that my filter won't be sucking moisture out of the atmosphere.
