I saw a story on Gunsamerica.com about Washington D.C. police shooting a man with an airgun.
"Officers were called to an apartment complex on August 31 to investigate a report of an individual holding a long gun on a balcony and pointing it towards the street. "
The narrated video has an explanation of the incident but the graphic bodycam video shows how an airgun is "recognized" as a firearm
"A police officer with the Washington, D.C., Metro Police Department shot and killed a man earlier this month who was wielding what was later determined to be an air-powered rifle."
Always treat your air rifle or pistol as a weapon which others may "recognize" as a firearm.
Be safe out there.
