CAREFUL how you "present" your airgun in public--

I saw a story on Gunsamerica.com about Washington D.C. police shooting a man with an airgun.

"Officers were called to an apartment complex on August 31 to investigate a report of an individual holding a long gun on a balcony and pointing it towards the street. "

The narrated video has an explanation of the incident but the graphic bodycam video shows how an airgun is "recognized" as a firearm

"A police officer with the Washington, D.C., Metro Police Department shot and killed a man earlier this month who was wielding what was later determined to be an air-powered rifle."

Always treat your air rifle or pistol as a weapon which others may "recognize" as a firearm.

Be safe out there.

Here armed police and swat teams have "raided" what turned out to be kids playing with airsoft, and mind you this is in a country that have 0 shooting history at least as far as mass shootings.

The main problem i think is phones on the quick draw, and of course ill informed people

My car was once hit by a airsoft gun, i just drove on and then stopped and sneaked back, then in the darkness i identified where there was still getting shot at cars from ( 1 floor apartment balcony ) and then i threw a stone thru his window.

Airsoft shooting stopped, police spent their time on more important stuff, and hopefully someone learned a lesson,,,,,, win - win

Yeah not a recommended procedure, but i take chances some times and really police / law cant do much here, though VS then it is much worse now.

I have tried to get police involved in serious traffic violations i captured in glorious HD on 2 dashcams. like where a guy do so many fine and mark on license offenses in 30 seconds of driving that they could easy take his license, nothing happened before i told a TV station and they put my case / video on top of a segment on the severe cop shortage here in the county.

So now i for sure cant be bothered with those guys as the insult i feel it is to me from them and the politicians are hitting me so hard, and it make it hard for me to understand that most police men are probably stand up guys just wanting to make a difference, but police cant do that here, all forms of crime have gone up year after year for a few decades, so they are not even putting out fires anymore. Personally i would find another job if i was a police man, CUZ i have several times had to quit jobs due to inept colleagues or management of the company, no matter the pay i just can not work with / for idiots.

Not long ago there was 2 guys that amassed a total of +700 cases against them before they got before a judge, and some of the crime was pretty serious stuff too like rape - gun violence ASO

Worst of all as i recall none of the 2 got deported / kicked out of the country.
