Career II 707 airgun

I have a Career airgun that has been shooting accurately for over a decade and now it isn’t. I tried a new scope but that didn’t solve the problem. I decreased the muzzle velocity and still no luck. There’s no pattern to the shot groups. Does anyone know of someone that repairs these old guns.

Might not need to be repaired. A thorough barrel cleaning will likely restore accuracy. Unfortunately you need to disassemble the rifle to remove the barrel for cleaning. IIRC Pyramyd Air has a tech that works on the older Korean guns like the career. Their turn around time is reasonable.

Might check the shuttle area if cleaning barrel doesn't work. It's possible a pellet got snagged when loaded and some lead is stuck in it or the lead in area of the barrel.

You can clean the barrel with a worm patch without taking the barrel off. Cock the gun and leave the lever open and insert it from the right side of the receiver.
