I also can’t PM. While I know that I don’t have 10 posts, I could swear that I was able to PM prior to the most “recent” site changes.

I got moderators involved when I posted Classified post outside it's forum. Even with 12 postings I couldn't PM members. After that violation they fixed my problem). Sometimes you have to break laws to get attention)

I also can't private message anyone and im also past 10 posts. Ive heard there might be a 10 day waiting period? Not sure. Is there a list of admins or mods to speak to to find out what the exact requirements are?

Nopety nope. Logged out, closed browser (Chrome), deleted cookies. Still don't see a way to message. Guess the last thing to try would be restart the laptop.

More reasonable would be that new members should learn the rules of the forum. Spend a few more days getting to know the place and the membership.

FWIW, I personally feel that the waiting period is a great idea and serves a very valid purpose.
Respectfully, though, the rules do not make any mention of when a new member will get access to member to member messaging. The rules state that one must have 10 quality posts prior to being able to Post An Ad To The Classifieds Section. ...nothing about member to member messaging. So, it might be most reasonable to update the rules slightly in order to avoid the frequent confusion of new and existing members.
That said; patience is a virtue, and a little mystery can keep life interesting.

I still do not for some reason...or access to classifieds. And have read all rule sections. I edited out any of my posts that might have been taken as trying to get around classifieds. Glad you finally got in allenh!
