+1 on that! The Crown with a short barrel is just about perfect.

Yes, a Crown with the 380 barrel has hooked many non-airgun shooting friends on airguns. It truly is a hoot to shoot, but it gets so tiresome always hitting everything you aim at.

RTI Prophet and Impact 3 similar but I think FX more modern and complex while Prophet is ultimate simplicity. Not better one way or other. Both super flexible. But which is more important to you?

That is a good suggestion, I carry a Crown with a 600 barrel squirrel hunting in the Ohio hardwoods and it works excellent . The 380 would work ever excellenter .

I just came back from a week of grouse hunting with the L2 . Plenty of banging around, while tied to the front of an ATV , lots of walking and stalking , rain , sun and high winds. Zero stayed where it was set, magazines cycled without problem. I have an Impact X with all the goodies and I can say with 100% certainty that it wouldn’t have made it. I did bring a backup gun but it stayed in the locked case. I vote L2 .

Thanks for all the replies guys. I pulled the proverbial trigger on a Leshiy 2 in .22 350 configuration today from EDgun west. Can’t wait foe it to arrive. The first airgun I’ve ever bought brand new in the “high end” price range.
