I ordered and am waiting on:

The other aluminum RMR mounts are like 3x more expensive so I figured I'd try the cheap one first since it seems like it might interfere less with the buttstock options later on.

There are no dumb questions. Some might be rephrased better, however. We all were beginners once, and we have to ask questions to learn. Sure, as newbies we should search first, but sometimes as beginners we don't even know the key words to search for. It's not good to chase away beginners. That's how the sport dies.
I'd think a better question might be, "What options are there for mounting a red dot to a GK1?"

The mount from redotmate perfectly fits the rear sight recess and is rock solid with no play. I tried a 3d printed one that was surprisingly well made but I prefer machined aluminum.

Can't say it's not annoying to receive the same questions repeatedly. And yes, I agree that we shouldn't be obligated to tell people things that are easily found from a search. But I reiterate, the only dumb question is the one you are afraid to ask. Sometimes the questions are truly insightful. Other times they're as dumb as a bucket of rocks. We'll never see insightful questions if we chase people away.
Besides, if questions annoy you, it's perfectly ok to ignore them. However, I'd conjecture AGN is a place to spread and disseminate knowledge, not hoard it.
