Can these $6-1200 NV scopes detect mice out to 30, maybe 50 yards?

Hey y'all,

I'm wondering if I get a NV scope what I could actually use it for. I'm Not really interested in spending much more than $800 if I decide on one.
I don't really want to pay for filming abilities or other WiFi BS.

I know I would mainly be interested in mounting it on my .257 Scandalous for Coyotes out to whatever distance the scope can identify one at, whatever distances that maybe IDK. I'm only limited by the scopes capabilities not the build/slug combo.
I'm also very much wondering what NV scope might allow identification & precise hits on targets like mice & to what distances if put on a .177 or .22 pellet shooter.

I'm not opposed to buying an extra good IR flood or directional light that mounts on side/top.
Cover I'm specifically interested in hunting is this spot for mice/rats that come in for vegetable peels/compost

40 yards max from a seat to the spot in question.

And below is shown an area I've found that's full of dens. Pretty wide open and clear 200 yard views.

The Sightmark Wraith is well reviewed and would likely work well for you. As far as your compost pile I’d get an IR floodlight positioned right over the top of it if you’re not opposed to running a 12v wire out that far.

If the dens are right behind your compost pile and you’re persistent with the mice the coyotes will come to the sound of your shot in time.

Greatly appreciated. JD

I’ve been using this no-name economic night vision rig for almost two years. Along with an auxiliary IR light. I’ve seen rats out to 100 yards. (Never take a shot) that’s just the furthest out I can see from my yard. I could possibly see further. And I’ve seen tiny (like 1”) tree frogs at 32 yards. At a certain point all you see is the glowing eyes. Which was the case with the frogs. I did not know exactly what they were until they hoped. I’ve shot lots of mice only being able to see their eyes.
Just an FYI I’m shooting from 6 to 23 yards average at mice. My longest shot at a mouse was 32 yards.
