Can someone in upstate NY help a new airgunner out with some air???

Hey AGN:

I just sold one of my PCP rifles to a really nice guy (Bryan) in Rochester, NY but he just got back into airgunning after a long time away from the hobby and doesn't have an air source yet. While he's doing his due diligence on which route to go for air (SCBA tanks vs. compressor, etc.), can someone nearby help him fill his rifle so that he can enjoy it? When I first started out 15 years ago, I met several great people in the Bay Area that did the same favor for me so I'm hoping someone can help Bryan out so that he can have the time he needs to research the best long term solution for his filling needs.

If you can help, please reply here or PM me and I'll put you in touch with Bryan.

Thanks all,
Yen

I’ll help! I just need 2000 miles of fill hose! Ha ha, just funning!

its nice of you to post this help tread, Yen. Hopefully someone closer than I can help!

I knew you would help, Augie . . . just sorry that your "hose" isn't long enough!

Ohhh Chit!! Checkmate on me! I set myself up for that one! Chit! Good one!

I got “hosed” by Yen!! Ha ha I’m killing myself!

The easiest thing for him to do just for short term would be to get a cheap hand pump. I know most guys don't care for them but I use one to top off all the time and save the tank air for when I am at the range.

Yes, we discussed that as a viable option but I think he just needs a week or two to do some research before making a final decision; just needs a fill or two during that time so he can shoot his new toy.
