N/A Can PCP Work For me

I had C02's growing up and pump Benjamin Sheridan's, then got a few springers. I absolutely loved my .22 notos and spent quite a bit of time tinkering and shooting that but the jump from springer\c02\pump to PCP is a very nice one. there's costs with the pump and other accessories but once you get in the grove you've bought into a whole bunch of PCP options and you can get affordable nice ones or you can blow a wad on some high dollar onces. The phase I'm in right now is tuning and playing with some gently used "the pawn shop didn't know what they had" Edgun Leshiy 2's. Make the jump to PCP is my vote.

If you want to keep it under $500 the quite excellent Niksan Ozark or Elf come in .25 and .22. Elf (bullpup) is as low as $330 at DonnyFl.com. Accurate and adjustable power. Plenty of power for the pests you listed.

A Vevor manual stop compressor can be had for $112 on AliExpress. Autostop Yong Heng Single Piston water cooled (recommended) is $190. Vevor is quieter but slower to fill.

Going to PCP is expensive. Eyes wide open. It is not just the guns. It is the cost of high pressure air. It is the major cost and not by a little bit either.
True.. it can get even more expensive if you fail to do the research and make smart purchases.
Review videos are great to watch for general information and function on items like guns and compressors. But we really need to consider the sources of these reviews. Many of these folks will give good reviews just to keep the free stuff coming to review.
We also have to be wary of marketing hype. These forums are a good source of "in the field" experience but even some of that can be a bit misleading. I mean, who wants to make a pricey purchase and report that they may have made a mistake in their choice?
And we have the "brand fans". These are the folks that believe that there is only one worthy brand/model on the market.
It's a new World for the consumer these days with the current tariff struggles and such. Shipping costs are also rising all the time. Best to find a source that have items available within the US for shipping.
Warranties and parts availability are an important part of customer service as is communication. These are machines and will fail at some point.
I don't believe in "buy once, cry once". I don't want to buy and cry at all.

With good planning and due diligence, these HPA component's cost can be reduced significantly. It is possible to acquire top of the line commercial compressors used at reduced prices, especially if you are mechanically capable of repairs. Please keep in mind that there is no after sales factory support for Chinese products regardless of their category. It just is not in their business model. Every Chinese product must be considered disposable.. Now if the price is right, perhaps that policy is acceptable, but if follow on support, spare parts and repair is a concern go elsewhere.
