The Ten Dimes Challenge is beyond me at the moment but that doesn't mean the competitive spirit is dead in the Ol' ironlion. I present to you... The Can Opener Challenge!
Rules are simple:
> 50 yard minimum shooting distance
> 4" steel, tin, or aluminum (or al-lu-mineeum as y'all say across the pond) can with any sticker or other aiming point you choose
> Non-PCP only, springers get preferential treatment 'cause it's my challenge and I like 'em
> .22 is the standard caliber, .177 accepted, .25 will get an asterisk in the history books, .30 is right out
> MOST IMPORTANT: you must NOT intentionally try for the edge shots but rather let your stinking POI wander all over as you try your dangdest to hit the 4" can. This is very, very important since the point to this challenge is to demonstrate exactly WHY THE TEN DIMES CHALLENGE IS A PIPE DREAM FOR YOU!!!
OK, feeling much better now. Thanks for the session. Can I have my pointy objects back now, Doctor?
