Can Daystate redwolf shoot slugs?

Hello to all. Friend of mine has a daystate redwolf in 25 cal and we are wondering if it.can shoot slugs or will the barrel be damaged or if accuracy will be bad. Wondering if anything will fit in the magazine ...thanks for any and all replies..

Can’t definitively answer that from personal experience “YET” have some .22cal. slugs on the way!, have seen others shoot them well, not necessarily anymore accurately than jsb’s? But they hit hard for hunting and don’t believe they do any harm to gun?

 I tried some slugs in my 25 caliber RedWolf Rosso, but they were very accurate.



Soon as the weather stops raining and snowing, I will try shooting a different velocities, to see if they might stabilize a little better.

Just received nielsen slugs today, will try them in my RW .22 hp in the next few days.

Nielsen states .217 (22 cal) for 23 and 27gr on their website for Daystate/LW barrels. I think I’ll wait another month before I buy some. They will be way cheaper when they produce them on their new high speed press. They are made for our red wolf barrels, I would only try these on a hp red wolf.

If you don't want to wait, send a PM to D-RIG, he makes the Varmint Knocker slugs....custom weights even.

They shoot very nicely through my FX slug liner.

I recently purchased the HP Red Wolf in 22 caliber and was shooting some slugs though it

the 24 grain on medium power was the best , I want to make a 26 grain and shoot on high 

power and see how they do , I will keep you informed .

Went out to shoot the 22 cal Red Wolf HP today and it shoots 

the 26 grain slug very well , I was hitting very small rocks at

100 yards , it was to easy .
