Can Anything Be Done to Clean Up or Sort Member Classifieds?

It used to be that SOLD/FOUND/NLA and such items dropped down significantly so that only the active listings (as long as the user did his part) were at the top.

Now everything is just a hodgepodge mix of active and completed listings, pushing active listings way down when completed listings may stay towards the top.

Can this be rectified on the Classifieds forum from the Admin side? Or is there the ability of users to sort listings by their status?

Another member, elbeau made the recommendation to do the same thing by removing the threads tagged sold.
Elbeau also posted the way and company that has the filtering capability to remove the items that are updated as being sold.

Yes. AGN admins have heard our grievances and requests and have responded with filters that do just that! They went live today.
