FX Can Any Impact M3 *Compact* Owners Help On a Quick Question?

My M3 Compact came with a heavy valve return spring and FX replaced it with the correct standard spring. When I received my Compact my chronograph literally broke the very same day so I couldn't get any FPS numbers on the stock setup. I am now back to the reg 1 @ 150, reg 2 @ 85, Macro 16, Micro 2, valve adjuster at 4 lines default setup. It it shooting my JSB 18.1 @ 800 FPS.

1)Is that way off?
2) What caliber and stock setting FPS's were you getting from your new Compacts?

I'm guessing 800 on the .22 is probably about right because FX stock setup on the Compacts is pretty conservative? I don't know as my 2nd Impact was a .25 700mm rig. Can anybody else confirm this?

impacts are a piece of cake to tune.......

1. start with the valve adjust out past the 4th line, and leave your wheel on 16,

2. keep turning up your micro till your velocity stops rising.

3. click the wheel down 1 number at a time,
-or-
turn the micro down a few clicks at a time till velocity drops about 10-15fps

(since the macro and micro adjust the same thing, but do it in different increments,
you can choose to do either,
on my m3 it seems one click of the wheel = 4 to 5 clicks on the micro)

4. slowly turn the valve adjust in till velocity drops another 10fps or so.

5. enjoy your tuned impact or fine tune more if you wish.

do the same thing any time you increase or decrease regulator pressure,
to find a decent balanced state of tune.

Question - What is "stock setting" (in red) from above .

I've got my M3, compact shooting a hair over 800fps. I have no need to shoot out to 75 or 100 yards, so this works well out to at least 50 yrds.

There is many ways to accomplish this speed with the adjustments available.
Experiment, do your own investigation on what works best...for you.

Yes that was really my question. What was the FPS's that you guys were getting right out of the box with the stock settings?

I need that baseline because my chronograph was broken and I've been shooting with the heavy valve return spring for 6 months. I just got the spring that was supposed to be in there installed and put my gun back to stock setting and was shooting at 800 FPS with the JSB .22 18.1g. That seemed super low to me but it may be correct. That's what I was asking you guys. Is 800 FPS about right out of the box or is my gun broke?
