AirMaks Arms Can a 280mm barrel be accurate?

Not sure about all of them, but if it’s a Cz barrel and attached to a Airmaks Katran CB, it definitely can. This rifle is sighted in with 16gr JTS, but I had ordered some 18gr JTS to try because the 16’s were so good. Turns out this rifle will shoot either of them with laser like accuracy! Even better, I’ve got it tuned down to 24-25 FPE for more shots than a man needs. 40 Yards and 5 shots from sandbags on the bench, but who cares, it’s 280mm!

For sure it can(and you're showing us) , the question is how much power a barrel length can develop. Barrel length correlation to accuracy is one of my favorite lores.

I now have 4 AirMaks Katrans. I just got a standard 2 days ago . It has already claimed two Ghogs & several HOSPs. I have dropped the power down a bit for use in the rat barn(s). They are extremely accurate & tank tough!

I’ve shot most of the big brands and for me, the Airmaks delivers in every aspect.

Any length barrel can be accurate.

I recently bought a used BRK Atomic XR. I think the barrel is about 9.5" long. Once I got the bugs worked out it is very accurate off of bags.
I am still adjusting to the bugaboo of short barreled anything. They are very sensitive to your shooting form. That short and light platform is very influenced by any movement you impart on the gun.

No doubt. Just not all brands can make it happen. The CZ barrels never seem to disappoint, regardless of length.
