I use this in nearly all my rat(nocturnal) hunts... Provides near bench accuracy while moving the night scope around to locate eyes. Light, sturdy and portable.
I've got one and love it when I'm working on my rifles. Unlike some rifle stands that you put on a bench, you got 360 degree of easy accessibility and the ability to tilt, swivel and rotate. I do sometimes use a couple of bungee cords to secure a rifle if I'm going to be using any force while servicing. Don't want it to hit the ground.
I have the magnum version and love it. I can use it standing and not have to drag a table and chair out to the place I shoot long distances. One word of caution: Do not leave your gun on it and walk down range. This cost me a good scope when the gun crashed to the concrete. It seemed very secure and I had left the gun on it countless times until "that horrible" moment.
