Cable spool double benchrest!

Came across this brilliant idea. Definitely not portable, but you may be able to get the spool for free from a local cable/internet/phone/electrical company

I have seen this before. Very nice indeed. A local BIG power line contractor had like 6 for several months and then one day they were gone. The may be returnable? Given lumber scarcity/prices,... that may play in.



I do think I would opt for a small boat swivel seat with back rest if I was to do one. Maybe a slider for fore and aft adjustment.

You can put a umbrella for shade.

I used to have one of those around the yard, and it came in handy for a multitude of things. 

But I was never bright enough to think of doing it that way! Pretty damn cool.

Just looking at that, the way you have the seats positioned, if sturdy enough it could be tipped over and rolled.
