I would add Airguns of Arizona and Utah Airguns. Both retailers with a good variety of used guns that will be function/leak checked before they are sent out. A of A has a 30 day guarantee on them, not sure about Utah. In my opinion overall the pricing at A of A is much better than Utah.

Baker has pretty good selection and decent pricing too

You do pay a bit of a premium to shop the air gun stores for used. You do get guns tested and most likely work.

AGN & GTA users are generally good about standing behind what they sell.

Gunbroker.com plan on replacing all the o'rings especially if you buy off an auction.

First places I checked. Looking to buy off a person more so than a business feel like I’d get a way sweeter deal.

GTA is the other forum I was thinking about I just couldn’t remember the name thanks!

AoA, UA, and AN . Auction sites like GB and eBay, meh but eBay has better protection. Have not been on GB for sometime, cause AN took over with my air rifle addiction. PA, maybe catch a roll of the dice refurb. EW, never seem to update their page and out of stock, poor cs. AoA just rocks with customer service, reliable rating of the pre-owned, and super packing. AoA, if I had any sort of issue ... they handled it to full satisfaction. Hope you find that perfect PCP!

Gunbroker has good protection IF the seller signs up for it. Ive bought 5 guns off GB with zero issue.

The regular non-auction sales on Ebay are ridiculous. 2 year old rifle selling above list for new. GB has some of that but generally not too bad.

But ive only bought at auction.

I know that a lot of people have had good experiences with used airguns and relatively few bad ones. Still, I'm very nervous buying used and dealing with someone, somewhere, I don't know personally.

I do a lot of gunsmithing for friends and seen many used and abused airguns that have been "fixed" or "upgraded" by amateurs who shouldn't be allowed to have a screwdriver.

The casual "tuners" who are always looking for maximum power are the biggest concern - the damage they can do to an airgun is internal and not always apparent by buggered screws.

"Open box" deals are questionable, professionally refurbished items are probably fine.

Personally, I prefer to buy new, pay the asking price and get the manufacturer's warranty and a dealers after sales support. IMHO, unless I know the specific item and the owner, the money saved buying used is not worth the risk of getting damaged goods.

On the flip-side, if you are mechanically inclined, buying a "parts gun" or a damaged gun can be a fun project. By trading some old archery gear, I got a slightly used FX Crown that had been tuned to the point it wouldn't shoot worth a darn. A couple of hours work has yielded my favorite PCP that shoots sub-MOA at 50 yards 😁

If gambling and saving some money is exciting to you - go for it! 😃

...just my (paranoid) opinion. 🙄

Cheers and good luck!
