Has anyone heard of King Optics?

I’m not proud to say their Canadian. I’ve got 2. Lifetime garrantee, (BS). This kind of product really pisses me off. I’ve had these for over a year, and given them every benefit of doubt. I shot my R9 for 20 min. today with this piece of crap. Not ONE hit at 25 yds. Oh I forgot to mention these are my 2 most expensive scopes. 

Maybe it’s me, but I don’t think so. I can’t sight them in. I have more than a dozen Hawke Scopes, never an issue. Even my cheaper Vision King scopes I could center. The R9 is screaming to get it off it’s back. Today we had enough!

I sent one back to “Nick” the owner twice. Only to hear how great he is. He says he pays freight, he didn’t. More expense.

There are videos where they do everything to these scopes but shoot them out of a cannon. Drive over the scope, maybe it helps it.
I’m not an expert by any means, don’t like bashing but BUYER BEWARE!

Crowski mentioned his Hawke airgun scopes.Hawke scopes are set at 25 to 50 yards. Airgun specific scopes. 

It very much looks like King Optics are specifically made for cold weather hunters using centerfire rifles. Meaning they're set up for 100 yard minimum shooting, or "parallax."

Everything about the product is aimed at hunters, and seems to promote ruggedness with simplicity. Simplicity to the point of not providing technical information. Stated at the bottom of About Us, as "bombarding the buyer."

WOW! They must use the best glass on earth. Lol.

I'm not going to buy a top tier scope unless I have all the specs. Buyer beware is right!!

I'm aware that parallax is the most misunderstood thing in the shooting world. Especially for those who want to shoot groups but give up or go crazy blaming the pellets/slugs, wind, gun, anything but said parallax which is the most likely culprit 
Most people don't know what it is, how to detect or how to minimize it.

There's a big difference between a pistol or 25 yard airgun scope, & a 100 yard rifle scope.
Take a SWFA SS 10x, 12x, 16x, or 20x for example The exit pupil (eye box) gets progressively tighter, smaller as the magnification increases, which in turn forces the shooter to repeat their hold, eye placement, & hopefully follow through. That's a good thing for some types of shooting, shooters; but not always desired or enjoyed by all. 

If I had a budding scope company and Crowski called telling me about his desire to scope a springer & shoot only pellets out to 50 yards max, I sure as Hell wouldn't sell him a couple of expensive 100 yard minimum parallax scopes!!!! 
Main question that gets asked is if a scope is springer rated. Today's etched glass reticles are all springer rated; but it's super important to match the minimum parallax setting to the airgun in question.

I was a thinking the exact same thing Paul…And Gerry.

So many great scopes available these days in every price range to fill every niche. Of course people like different features and specifications but there’s plenty out there. If I’m going to spend a chunk of change on a scope, it’s going to be a good one or at least have a great reputation. If it’s a newer company, I’m certainly going to do my due diligence in researching it before I drop any cash. Looking at the models on the website would make me a little nervous, they certainly don’t look like quality to me. 

Sorry you got burned Crowski, hopefully they’ll eventually make it right and you’ll get a couple that work correctly. I don’t like bashing companies either but if they don’t make it right, the internet is a powerful tool. Good luck!

Wow.

I've had Better luck with the low cost scopes off Amazon! ...and they Look Better! Sorry to see ya spend your hard earned money (a Substantial amount,at That.) and get the snotty end of the stick.

As stated,there are so many decent options out there such as UTG, Discovery... ect. Perhaps take a look at Airgun Optics Plus?
