 give me burgers and fries....I am an audiophile, I have come to the conclusion the shape of ears changes sound,eyes are different ,but maybe a persons vision has something to do with the scopes they think are good...or bad,,,,resolution is what it is called in both ears eyes,scopes and music.

Brightness should equal sharpness,yet many bright people are dull, their resolution is not in focus and becomes cloudy searching for the nuances that have escape them....

I read a whole article from an English air rifle journal about discovery being a great entry level scope. One of the people interviewed had won a big contest that year and it was his first year competing.

The Meopta Optika6 and Optika5 seem to be very nice scopes that don't break the bank.

They are made in the Czech Republic.

I prefer 1" tubes though, hence I am waiting for the Optika5.

I hope Mr. John Rhea is able to review one of the Optika models.

I am pretty sure the Meopta's glass is much better than most of the competitors' at its price range.

And hey, to reiterate, it is not made in China.

Tom Gaylord did a review on their "cheap" spotting scope. I believe he did one later on one of their scopes as well.
