Bushnell Engage scope with "Deploy MOA reticle"

Has anyone seen this new Bushnell scope 4-16x44? Seems pretty good, and I like the reticle. MSRP is $399, but it can be had for much less with military, police, and first responder discounts. There are also 2.5-10x44, 3-12x42, and 6-24x50, all with 30mm tubes.

I am looking hard at scopes? Like that ret? but want x24 and FFP. My eyes need bigger glass at longer yardage LOL. I read where you like the discovery? Thought on those?
I don't care for the dot MOA or MIL. I want to use the turrets but also have the hash lines. MAYBE $400.00 range.

This one also comes in a 6-24x50. It has the side focus down to 10 yards. Very nice reticle. Not sure about Discovery? What brand is that?

I almost picked up the 3-12x42 variant during black Friday - it was $250 from Cabelas. I too like the reticle and the weight is pretty good for a 44mm objective 30 mm tube. Windage and elevation are only 50 MOA but possibly is not an issue with how the reticle is configured. I have two other Bushnell scopes and I like the glass.

If you do get the 4-16x44, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

i have the MIL model as that’s what I prefer and I like the mil reticle better. It sells for $369.00 OpticsPlanet has discounts codes from time to time. For the money and lifetime no BS warranty it’s hard to beat.

Thanks Brian. That one looks good and gets good reviews, but it is quite porky. OK im sure for a BR gun, or hunting from a rest or stand, but not for a woods walker...

FFP always adds a little weight over SFP. The main advantage of FFP is to figure the distance to target quicker. If that not critical to your shooting look at a SFP they are cheaper.
