If anyone's been looking at trying one of these Cabela's has a good sale going on. Sale prices are for the 30mm. Their prices on the 1" aren't bad but you can find them lower from time-2-time. A friend has the 2.5-10(30mm tube) and its pretty impressive. Reticle works well for ag's.
