Bushnell 6500

MP44,

I agree whole heartedly. I've only looked through the Aztecs (outside and in fulll sun) and the glass is not worth the asking price while the reticle is perhaps too thin and quickly gets "lost" against mottled or darker back grounds. Although, the reticle design itself is excellent.

I own three of the 6500 Bushnell, two in DOA 600 and the other mil-dot. They are a pleasure to use with big, bright eye boxes and plenty of eye relief. Side focus knobs are smooth and not overly firm to rotate. I own other scopes and switch between guns in a shooting session and every time I pull up to a Bushy I'm reminded of why I paid so damn much!

Enjoy it MP44!
