Burris Scout Riflescope 2-7x32mm calibration

Hi, 

trying to dial in my scope, based on the manual i should calibrate it at 100 yards, i never go out 100 yards to i calibrated it at 50 yards, hitting bulls eye at 50 yards. 

Zooming out and trying to hit target at 20 yards I’m shooting high to the right. Am i missing something? Does the scope require being zoomed in and 100 yards?

Could you define what you mean by "Zooming".

When you "zero" a scope at a certain distance..like 50 yards..it will require hold-over or hold-under for all other distances,

If you zero at 50 then shoot at 20 using the center cross-hair, then it would usually be normal to hit high. 

It is not normal to hit left or right at different distances. That means you have not aligned the vertical cross-hair with the bore properly.

why do i have to move up or down when i change from 7x back to 2x. Same target.

did the calibration at 50 yards.

I point of impact changes with changing the power, your scope is defective. Your point of impact will be different at all ranges. You can only be sighted in exactly at 1 or 2 distances.
