Could you define what you mean by "Zooming".

When you "zero" a scope at a certain distance..like 50 yards..it will require hold-over or hold-under for all other distances,

If you zero at 50 then shoot at 20 using the center cross-hair, then it would usually be normal to hit high. 

It is not normal to hit left or right at different distances. That means you have not aligned the vertical cross-hair with the bore properly.
