Bulk Fill Advise Needed for Recently Purchased/Rescued Crosman 113

Last week I found the Crosman Model 113 at the scariest second hand store/pawn shop I have ever dared walk into. I got this rifle as part of a $25.00 bundle deal and have already sold the other two off (Model 760 and a Model 66).

The gentleman I bought it from thought it was an old tire pump system that built the pressure and said it was missing that part. I inspected it and could not see how a pump rod would ever fit in the end of the tube. However it intriged me enough to do a quick search to figure out what it was as it did not have Crosman stamped anywhere, only the trigger guard gave me a clue it could be a Crosman and being part of a cheap bundle deal I wanted to at least get a basic understanding of what I was either going to pass on or purchase.

After about 10 minutes of searching on my phone I discovered it was a Crosman 113, the not as common as the Model 114 Bulk Fill Co2 air rifle made by Crosman made some where between 1950 - 1955.
I like buying odd or rarley seen air rifles that may or may not work just to work on and build my knowlledge base for repairing old air rifles, so I bought this one for a future project.

I am not sure where this Model 113 actually lies in the time frame of production, but I am guessing it is probably an early version of the 113's that were made, again not sure and maybe someone here would know.

I plan on refinishing the stock and have ordered one of the 4 parts needed to make it complete: Fill Cap/plug (ordered); Stock Butt Plate, new rear sight base and peep sight. I have not bought a seal kit for it yet as I would like to test it out to see if one is needed. However, I may just get one coming as I get a better comfort level for fresh seals in old guns.

Other Items I understand will I need will be a fill tank and an adapter, not knowing anything about bulk fill systems I need help on what to get and appreciate and welcome the advise of everyone on what to get and where to look for these needed items.

This is a 114 I refinished and dolled-up a few decades ago.

You can find a buk-fill type Co2 tank where paintball stuff is sold; 10 ounce tanks used to be the most common. The fill adapter might be a bigger challenge, but try Mac-1 Airguns.

I can answer many questions about old Crosmans, but have found one leads to others, and long keyboarding sessions. So I make my phone number available for such information. No, standard rates do NOT apply... it's free.
