Yes it's a limited thing agree. I need to ask a few questions. Does the 30 have an adjustable hammer ?I love my G30 but I've also realized the limitations of the platform. Modification really only occurs external. You can do some hammer and spring work but not much else.
There is a limitation at the regulator to gun port. It is about 1mm diameter and makes a 90° turn inside the block. So external plenums provide virtually no help (and you know I like plenums). So you are left with the internal space as the plenum.
A larger and straighter port with a plenum would generate significantly more power or significantly more shots. Then hammers and springs become more effective and variable in weight and strength. Poppet might need some tweaking at that point.
The Gauntlet platform should be a lot more adjustable. Those of us without a shop full of machine tools have limited options in that regard.
My Gen 1 .25 I added the Haji supertune kit. That made the hammer spring adjustable.Yes it's a limited thing agree. I need to ask a few questions. Does the 30 have an adjustable hammer ?
My .22SL does not. Hajimoto Production's is very Informative about these. On my .22 there were shims that were easy to adjust that sit on top of the spring washer stack in the reg. I'm getting about 45 fbs from mine pushing the .28g slugs at 890.
I added a flat washer to the shims to get this power
Is the stack held n place on the 30 by a O ring like on my 22.?.

It could be the extra washer I added to the reg. What causes the barrel & bottle to not be more parallel to each other? Never seen it to that degree on a gun before. Just curious.
That would keep me up at night, something’s all caddywhompus there. What causes the barrel & bottle to not be more parallel to each other? Never seen it to that degree on a gun before. Just curious.
The bottle is out of alignment. That would keep me up at night, something’s all caddywhompus there.
Caddywhompus I like that word. That would keep me up at night, something’s all caddywhompus there.
Ok did not want to keep me up at night , so de gassed it , and found the bottle block to be very loose , and the gap between the bottle , and regulator was not helping. It's not perfect. Nothing isThat would keep me up at night, something’s all caddywhompus there.
Thanks man, I feel a lot better now! Thanks for Wabi-Sabi too, love me some words/phrases!Ok did not want to keep me up at night , so de gassed it , and found the bottle block to be very loose , and the gap between the bottle , and regulator was not helping. It's not perfect. Nothing is
Like "Wabi-Sabi" which means "Nothing is Perfect"
Wabi- refers to simplicity, humility, and quietness. Often associated with rustic beauty, or imperfection.
Sabi- Evokes the beauty that comes with age , wear , and the passage of time.
Together Wabi-Sabi is a profound
Japanese aesthetic that findes beauty in imperfection , impermanence, and incompleteness. Like weathered wood , cracked pottery , patina on a old revolver , or the silence of a foggy morning. Anyway now you know a word in Japanese.Lol.
