N/A Bug a salt Shredder for Spiders

Was shopping for a spider removal tool and found this one. Looked more practical than a flame thrower or BB shooter.

Large lethal range for spiders. I hate spiders. Seems safer than a flame thrower or BB shooter so I have that going for me.

Showed up today, going to take it for a spin this weekend.

Spiders beware.

Hmmm.
Spiders take care of some pretty nasty characters.
Spiders get a free pass at my house. Even the ones that are in the house get a free ride out to the grass. I know that they do a good job of eating other critters that I don't want around. Black Widows don't get the same treatment though. They either get the Bug-a-Salt or the can of Raid.

That model looks neat, isn't that loud on video or crazy overpowered. I know the ammo is cheap enough but I think you could glue stick tissue paper to the plastic cylinders and fill them with salt and cap the top the same way. This is just my plan for one if I get it based on what I could gleen from videos. I just have to figure out how to get a little 12 ci regulated 3k bottle on it.

I am not sure how loud or powerful it is. I purchased extra ammo and Co2 cartridges for testing / pesting purposes. I plan on running it through its paces this weekend. There are some huge wood borers I plan on hunting. They shrugged off the bug a salt rifle at almost point blank range.

My friend said it is a Crosman pistol at heart so there are probably all kinds of mods for it. It does have a nice metal frame underneath all the yellow and red plastic cladding.

I dont have the bug-a-salt, I do have the crosman vigilante which is basically the same thing. On the up side of the vigilante vs the bug-a-salt is that you can still shoot regular pellets if you want. The take the same magazines, and you can also reload them. I purchased a pack of 12 or however many in a pack and just reload them. I use glue stick and tracing paper. There are videos on YouTube showing how to reload and side by side comparison between the two.

Funny you say that. Indoors I use a crosman pistol to kill flies with just the air blast.

That's bound to work better than the Bug-a-salt. I had one and it was not powerful enough for the job even though the idea was kind of a good one.
They've had a few versions. Early on they could be pretty pitiful, but now they've upped the power. The current iteration is jamming with table salt at the pickup sometimes, so I was looking at the co2 one.
