Bucket "O" Birds

Yesterday morning at the dairy with fellow AGN partner. He was trying out his new Wildcat and I was using the Renegade and Pulsar HP.

It seemed a bit slow but we filled a 5 gallon bucket 3/4 full with collared doves in about 2 hours, so not too bad after all. It's still too hot here in AZ.

Nice shooting! What did u guys do with those birds? I heard they were good to eat.. we have not harvested any this year in upstate SC.. a good thing!!

Mourning doves are not the same and can't be shot out of season. Even in season they can't be taken with an air rifle.

Collared doves are always in season with no limits.

Nice shooting hawk, looks like you n your buddy had a great time. That's a lot of bacon wrapped breast . IMO the collared doves have more meat, n you can hunt year around in CA .Man I bet your digging your Pulsar, that's n awesome AG .
