BSA R10 se project

I'm currently working on a newly purchase R10. I'm not a huge fan of the moderator. Anyone know where I can find a different moderator for it. I can remove the shroad and use a donny moderator but want to check my options. The stock one screws on to the shroud. Maybe an adapter would do the trick. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you can get a Huub shroud for it from XTX Airguns. Supposed to work great and keep the length down

I tried XTX but I could only find pictures and instructions on how to install it. It's fairly simple. Just can seem to be able to buy it on his site.

Thanks just checked huma. They have it. I wonder if its really much quieter the the stock moderator.

A DonnyFL Tanto with porting added to back vent it into aluminum tubing that is vented at breech block end. R10 MK2 but should work the same on SE. About 2.5 inches shorter that stock shroud and a bit quieter.

I thought the ends are already threaded 1/2unfx20? I may be wrong maybe somebody else can confirm. YO!

I think a FULL Huggett shroud would make it the quietest. YO!

Here is my previous Nick built Carbine with Hogan Mod. I like the subtle taper on the back. Super quiet (was also set up at 16 fpe which helped).

Overall I prefer Huggetts, but I was going for a specific look on this one and the Hogan fit the spec.

Is the "Nick" you refer to Nittin? Former HUMA Nick? Former Air Superiority Nick? If so the guy does really great work. YO!

Very nice rifle! Like the stock color. I’m looking at the BSA Goldstar SE to get into Hunter class. AOA has a great deal on them right now. Do you know if the Huggett shroud will fit? Also, I don’t know much about the Huggett. Does it act as a sort of air stripper as well or just a moderator?

I had an R10 and went with the xtr it worked better but not awesome. I would definitely give the huma a try.

i think for goldstar huggett have only moderator on market 

never saw any huggett air stripper but maybe they have some

I bought the Huma shroud earlier this year for my R10 SE, and it Is a bit quieter than the factory moderator + it looks great. Worth every penny.
