Hi all. Am thinking of getting a bsa lightning grt xl se. 22. What's people's views. Not asking for comparisons or to purchase something different just views on this particular rifle. Thanks in advance regards

I have an old BSA lightning back in the UK. I replaced the spring with a Theoben Gas Ram and I absolutely loved shooting that thing. Am in the US now so hardly use it but I’d definitely recommend that as a break barrel.

Same thing here, had the OLDer not made in Spain ( might still be old world craftsmenship I do not know) as the newer ones are. Has a David Slade installed theoben gas ram, outstanding shot cycle but I'm not certain the bore and stroke are still the same and that info didnt surf up so??
The old ones were a fine rifle, please let us all know how the new fit/finish & QC are.
