BSA Gold Star .177 leaking air .

Hey guys.. I bought the bsa gold star new about two weeks ago , today i noticed it was losing air all be It slowly I cant hear or feel where Its leaking from , I know the regs on thees guns aren't the best and prone to fail , should I replace the reg with a huma and start from there ? . The gun Is the 12ft ibs version ( which I didn't know about until I received the gun ) but as I was only going to use It for targets I was ok with It .

Anyway all suggestions and comments will be much appreciated .

Pending HOW LONG ago rifle was first assembled ? ... therefor having pressure in it while on a shelf in box, it may just be a case of needing a reseal sadly.

There a tad tricky finding leaks being some of the connection points having o-rings are hidden or difficult to get at.

So after installing a Huma regulator I filled the gun up to 230 bar , unlike before I could actually hear where the leak was coming from It was from the fill port took the fill port out striped It down put two new o rings in it reinstalled and bingo no more leaking gun . Still kinda pissed I only had the gun two weeks not even 50 rounds through It . Oh well I'm happy now .
