I would like to apologize for venting my frustrations in the original post. Sometimes I simply don't have the time or patience to deal with deceitful people.

The video is a link to Keyersoze youtube channel. Keysersoze (Bryan Meckler) is one of the rudest persons in the industry. You can find all of Bryan's ill-mannered words on the TAG forum.

That being said... Bryan did a fine job reviewing the Vulcan Bullpup.

That is the same video LOL. I thought it was well done as well. I don't know the KS or Erik, but i think the video does the same as any other review video's i've seen and think it should be allowed to remain. There is no names mentioned in the video, no forum bashing, so I don't care who made it, a another valid member shared it so let it stay. I think OUR forum should have more diversity (with boundaries of course).

I've watched the attached review of the Vulcan 25 cal from Airgun Technology, and personally don't understand the comments regarding integrity of the two individuals mentioned in the OP. If they are financially invested in another forum...I don't see a problem with that as generally the airgun forums of today are attached to and financially invested in the sponsors of the subject forum. It's very evident as the forums have banner ads for their sponsors on the forums. A forum is a very inexpensive way for the sponsors to get access to us hobbyist and a great advertisement tool for the manufacturers who are trying to sell their wares to us hobbyist. It seems like the cost of running a forum requires such relationships.

I do not know or heard of this "palace intrigue" concerning the mentioned people, but the video review was very well done. As the owner of a recently (one week ago) purchased .25 Vulcan Gen2, I can say that the video hit all the points one would/should be interested when looking for a bullpup. Ironically, not knowing about all the drama going on seemingly even with the Vulcan, it was mainly my search and polling here on AGN that helped me decide to get the Vulcan.

I am new to AGN and I understand that FX is one of the strongest and most active sponsors. But I do not see FX openly pushed here by "management". Yes, I see some "marketing" and "favored brand" but not at the expense of other brands and all of us one way or another have our own favorites and prejudices. As long as equal voice is given to all brands most of us are smart enough to read between the lines and notice when we are being BS-d by the paid peddlers. And those who are new to the hobby are hopefully smart enough to ask many questions before they commit to a $2,000 airgun.

I think most members (consumers) of forums understand that the folks that run them believe that the folks running the forum should be financially compensated for the cost of running the forum and deserve to earn some money for their efforts.

I believe most people's assumption is that monitization is through advertising. Unless I'm way off, the gripe seems to be that advertisers on this and others forums are also buying shielding from criticism.

I can see why Michael is pissed. There has been an effort to just be hateful; differences about airguns morfed into personal attacks toward him et al. Filth in no way related to our sport. The attackers justify this because they feel their voices are not allowed.

I'll say it again... A source of knowledge that allows criticism (although my bias would be one that requires civility) is in the best interest of our sport.

Our passion for our sport shows through. Extremes on all sides are noticed. My wish for this sport is that we can have a source of information where everyone can speak and be heard, that our opinions are about our sport and not about our panties getting in a bunch because our opinions differ (please remember this is our passion), that unjustified criticism is rebuffed and fair criticism is addressed.

For myself; I trust in people that have passion for this sport. Folks committed enough to hang out at forums are almost certainly diligent enough to narrow thing down to just good choices. If they make the second or third best choice it's still a good choice.

My my wish for this and the other forums I peruse is that members are allowed to show their passion to hold financial stakeholders feet to the fire; members are trusted to have access to all the information and decided for ourselves, and that we can be respectful of others folks opinions.

Let me be clear. I love the idea of the Vulcan. I've owned almost every quality modern day bullpup there is, and someday I hope to own a Vulcan.

But I will not tolerate people like Keysersoze or any of you that approve of how he talks about myself, Ted, Airgun Nation, or our members. There is a 24 page thread that was started by (and is tastefully updated daily) by Keysersoze himself. It is dedicated to name calling, discrediting, and insulting us. If you approve of this and encourage what Keysersoze stands for... then you have no business on this forum.

I've got to admit, he made a damn good video review. It's too bad that he doesn't have the same integrity on his forum.
