Crosman Broke out my .22 Nitro Venom after 9 years

been about 9 years since shooting my air rifle. Finally dug out my nitro venom .22 was shooting straight and filled my bag day one. After day two, No more shoot straight. I tore the gun down. cleaned good and then my expensive scope i had shot about 10000 pellets through decided to drop a crosshair after fighting to get it to group within 6 inches, I could visually see the pellet vear to the right. I live in a suburban neighborhood with 7 ft brick walls, and a 35 yd distance to target. I shot about 1200 pellets before realizing it i could move my MOA by pressing the barrel. I ran to ACE hardware and got about 8 different types of pivot washers. None fit right but I mix and matched the two and it fit really tight. After greasing it , it seems at 20 yards i get a 3 inch group with gamo pellets (normal for my gun with those)

Since my scope broke i ran to the closest shop (bass Pro) and picked up a red dot they told me was rated for the reverse recoil $60. I was big into airguns through my teens and youth for city hunting. I knew this scope wouldnt last...

After 12 shots both of the lenses on the red dot exploded in my eyes.

After removing the glass shards and pieces from the optic, I sent their customer service a lovely email. But im still using it without them and my groups hold.

I like dots on my Airguns. I use these on the harshest of Magnums. Hatsan 135. They hold up. EBAY. Cheap to.
