Tuning Brocock Sniper XR Magnum owners chime in please

So last week I got my new Brocock Sniper Magnum and am curious what other owners are seeing for power on highest setting. I am getting only high 40 fpe to low 42 fpe depending on pellet/slug weight. The rifle is advertised as making "up to 46 fpe" and the few reviews I have seen online seem to back that up. When I turn the power adjuster down I get 38 fpe one down from highest setting, and 30 fpe 2 down from highest setting. Judging by notches as I turn the power wheel there appear to be 4 power settings but I have not tried the lowest setting.

I am considering adjusting the hammer spring but wanted to see what others are getting before I do that. I had an idea that maybe the power adjuster isn't fully opening on highest setting, and am afraid that turning the hammer spring will mess up performance on the lower settings. AOA tested the rifle before it left the store and their numbers verify that it is only making 42 fpe, 865-870 fps using 25.39 grain redesigns.

If other owners would be kind enough to post what they are seeing with their Sniper Magnums on different power levels I would appreciate it.

I can get anywhere from 17 fpe to 48 fpe with my 22 HR HP, however it is one of the old and improved models with 6 power settings. Why in the world did they change it to just 4?

Had it for over a year and it just keeps getting more consistant. Still has the factory (AOA?) tune.

On a 250 bar fill it gets 105 shots on level 1 and 52 shots on level 6 before it goes off the regulator.

The reg is set at 160 bar. I might have some 25.39 redesigns coming next week so I'm not going to adjust anything until they arrive. Goal is to shoot them at least 880 fps, 900 fps would be ideal and meet what is advertised. I was surprised there were 4 power settings as sales text lists 3 on AOA website. It will be interesting, at least to me, to see how the hammer adjustment affects the other power levels.
