I just received my brand new Brocock Sniper Xr .25 cal a few days ago. On my first attempt to fill the tank via an SCBA. The hose disconnected from the valve stem and released the air from the valve. Is it broken or I'm I doing something wrong?

You must fill it VERY VERY slowly or you will cook the o-rings, in the check valve beneath the Foster fill fitting and the O-rings fail. Call AOA and they can send you a tool to remove the Foster fitting and O rings to fix it. I speak from experience because I did the same thing on mine.

You meant quick disconnect popped out from foster fitting on the gun? If yes, All should be fine, try it one more time just be sure connection is secure and gun is cocked, you may need to start with fast burst of air to close the valve and then slowly finish filling

B’s thought on your problem sounds most likely to me. Sometimes when you hook your female foster coupling to the male foster on the gun it doesn’t quite catch and blows off when you start adding air. It can be a little startling! Just be sure after you attach the coupling to your gun that you give it a good tug to assure it is secure.

Some of the foster fittings and quick disconnects don't like each other and wont work so you may need to try different one.

I've fixed more than one by pinching a piece of fine grit sandpaper on it and giving it a number of twists up and back if you can get to the male foster. Just be sure to wipe off any grit from the sandpaper very well before using.

Give the female foster a good nipple twister whenever attaching to the gun fill nipple then give it a tug b4 filling to be sure it's clicked in place.

Airguns of Arizona is sending a replacement piston with o ring and special tool. The job look simple enough after viewing the YouTube video

How many people? Total? Half a dozen? All user related, as there has to be a lot more Bantam owners out there. I have over one hundred full and partial fills on my Bantam. Happened once my bad. Since? Not at all. Yes! A stupid design?
