This is my first PCP gun. Just got it delivered yesterday.
I added a inexpensive bipod and a Buckrail moderator. According to my $30 amazon Db meter and my ears, it does a nice job.
The sound without the Buckrail averaged 112-114 Db for 5 shots and after putting the moderator on it went down to 104Db on average.
It is a noticeable difference.
.
Since I spent the majority of my budget on the gun I ended up with a lower end compressor, but can honestly say that so far I have zero complaints about it.
It took 10 mins to fill the 480cc carbon fiber tank and the compressor heads were barley warm to the touch.
I still need to do some fine tuning with the compressor setup.
I haven't adjusted anything yet, the trigger came with a nice 19 oz pull
The scope is a older made in Japan Tasco MAG IV 50mm 5x20 AO .
The target was shot with CHP pellets at full power after I refilled the gun. Even tho this was a short range test, only about 40', I am happy with the shot to shot consistency and accuracy. Soon I will be able test it out at longer ranges.
I also tried out the 4 setting power adjuster and this was the results, at setting #1 888 fps @ 25 fpe, #2 851 fps @ 22.9 fpe, #3 743 fps @17.5 fpe, and at the lowest setting #4 568 fps @10.2 fpe. The #4 setting should work good for my basement shooting.
All measurements were taken from a Pro Chrono DLX
Overall I am very happy with the gun and want to thank all on the forum who helped me make this choice. Time will tell for the compressor. I will post updates good or bad in the future.
thanks
