I've been under the impression that the barrel shroud is a chamber to collect gas, like a moderator does. The pictures don't show porting into the space between the barrel and the shroud, am I wrong about what I see?

wow this gun looks very nice , I didnt even look close at a bantam until now , and the word Quiet caught my attention , do they come with moderator or does it need one ? does the long shroud help noise ?
