That is a nice upgrade to the Bantam. It looks rather sharp. I think a lever action would have made it about perfect. I was not particularly fond of the bolt on my Compatto. The safety was also not a favorite of mine. I would prefer something like the Marauder employs.

From the CAD drawing above, it appears that they have finally moved away from the small diameter shroud (3/4") and moved to a larger diameter, stronger shroud over the barrel. It looks really good, and probably also benefits the strength of the gun so you don't experience "droop" when using a heavier moderator like the DonnyFL Sumo.

It does look better with a "bull barrel" design. That being said, look at those paltry energy levels! I hope that's a misprint, but if they're planning on releasing a .25 caliber version with only 28 ft/lbs of energy, then just skip that caliber. I'm getting 27 ft/lbs with my first generation .22 caliber Compatto. I never understood the reasoning behind British made rifles like Air Arms, Brocock, and even some Daystate models with .25 caliber options but power output in FAC only slightly better than a .22. If you're going to go, go all out and make it a 35-50 ft/lb version. I never considered an Air Arms S510 in .25 caliber simply due to it's low energy output for such a caliber.

45 FPE is decent. The bull barrel is a welcome change over an external can. Price and availability on the Brocock Batman 2 Sniper HR in .25?
