Researching possible new PCP and wondering how exactly the Brocock "Power Adjuster" works to change FPE? Change of hammer spring travel? Alter air flow?

It restricts the transfer port. Air is saved just a bit, but not much by adjusting the power back. I have the HP sniper and it has 4 different settings. On 4/high, I get about 60 shots and on 2 I get about 80 shots. Here's a link to a post that I measured velocity with different pellets on different power(transfer port) settings.

As the others have mention - restriction in the transfer port, doesn't save as much air as changing reg or HS.

The power adjuster on my Bantam Hi Lite did not have any positive clicks. The dial just spun freely. It was useless. I asked about it on the Brocock FB group and there were other guys with the same issue. Not many but more than just me.

those are great numbers for a power adjuster. many times you hear of power adjusters not being very linear.
