Brocock Concept Lite is in the house...

I seen a photo on the Brocock UK website of the Concept Lite, it's what originally piqued my interest in the Concept Lite, it had some obviously optional accessories on it, some of them I had to have on my rifle, after doing a little poking around I figured out that the parts I wanted were genuine Brocock parts, an email and a couple phone calls later and I was in touch with AOA, they set me up with the parts I wanted on my Concept Lite; the Piccatinny rail set shown on the Brocock website, so out with the old and in with the new...

That adapter looks like it will work, it's a little different than the one I used... The one in your link is made to accept a buffer and spring assembly for a real steel AR and keep the buffer and spring in place while folded, seems there's a small threaded section that is separate from the hinge piece to thread into the receiver... Looks over complicated, but, looks like it will work... I really like the one I am using, solid, zero slop... Looks clean on my Concept Lite...

A PSA and an UPDATE...

First the PSA...

So, I haven't written much about my Brocock Concept Lite lately because I have been researching a new folding stock adapter for it and haven't really been shooting it much lately... Earlier in my posts I showed a folding adapter I was using on my Concept Lite and wrote that I liked it, it was solid feeling etc... Well, after a little bit over a month it broke, it would no longer stay locked in the folded position... I have returned it...

So, here's the PSA portion of this post: I can't recommend the sb tactical folding adapter, mine failed after a month and half...

Here's the UPDATE:

After researching folding stock adapters I found one I REALLY like... It has all the right features and is built to prevent the failure I had with my first purchase...

It's available in many configurations to fit any standard AR rifle stock or chassis... Fixed to fixed, carbine to fixed, fixed to carbine and carbine to carbine... It's also available in single or dual locking, meaning it can lock in both the folded position and open position... Or just locked in the open position...

The reason I selected this new folding stock adapter it that has hardened steel parts where it matters... This one made is by MDT in Canada and has two separate buttons for the locking mechanisms, one for the folded position and one for the open position...

The stock I chose to put on my Brocock Concept Lite is a MagPul UBR, it has a "fixed" interface to the buffer tube and the Concept Lite has a "carbine" interface, this folding stock adapter was ordered for exactly this setup, if you have a fx dream tac it has a "fixed" buffer tube interface and depending on the stock you choose you will need a different configuration of this folding adapter... No matter the combination of stock and receiver interface this adapter can be ordered to fit your need...

A couple photos...
