I'd like to add an LDC to my Compatto Target .177, but want to avoid using an adapter, if possible. However, I need to know the thread size/pitch of the shroud - is it 5/8 x 24?

Hmm - I measured across the shroud's ID and came up with 5/8". 11/16 is quite a jump. What am I missing?

IF the ID is 5/8" then it is threaded- the threaded OD of the piece that threads into it will be bigger. 11/16 is only 1/32" on the radius measurement. the thickness of 10 sheets of paper from your printer. Trust the man, Igpr

get the tatsu its short and very quiet should be treaded or have a piece that the 1/2 20 silencer screws on it post a picture

Yeah I think we solved the problem. What happens is that AoA bonded the mod to the 1/2-20 threads on the end of the shroud. When he removed the mod, the adapter came with it. So the confusion is because those threads inside the shroud are not 1/2-20. So all he needs to do is heat that adapter that came out with the mod and it should come out. Then screw it back into the shroud and the 1/2-20 will be there to screw on the new mod.
