Brocock Compatto Target .177 Does anyone have one? & Review Coming

I will be reviewing mine but just wanted another one to compare to, waiting on my chrony to arrive. Was hard to find info on the .177 here in the states but I picked it up anyway, the Compatto still has some lines back to the days when the Silcox brothers owned the company, I see now under Daystate they are becoming heavy and tactical, that’s traditionally not what Brocock were but times ahhhh change.

I thought I would get a Sniper HR, I currently own a .22 Compatto, non-regulated. But like you noticed how heavy and bulky they are getting now, and will be looking elsewhere for something lighter.

I wanted a FFP scope for the Compatto but they seem to run on the large heavy side, usually they are a 30mm tube. I was watching Giles vid on the British Shooting show this year, at the end he was at the Discovery optics booth where I saw this scope. It’s a FFP scope 30mm tube but just under 10” long perfect for the Compatto. Half mil reticle 3X12x44 AO

I am pretty sure you can get a regulator for your .22 that may keep you a little more happy and keep you in a nice light rifle.
