I received my Compatto in .25 Wednesday and mounted a Hawke Air Max 30 6-24X50 on FX No Limits Mounts.
I sighted it in this morning. 1st shot at .25 was only 4 clicks to the left in windage and 2 clicks high on elevation.
Literally a 2 shot sighting. WOW! I proceeded to shoot at my 2" swinging targets at 50 yards although it had begun
to rain. 4 for 4 and this thing hits HARD shooting JSB Kings 25.39 grain pellets.
I was sitting under my covered patio where I shoot from (you didn't think I was sitting in the rain with a new gun did you?) gloating over this fine gun / scope
combo when my cat suddenly became alert. I looked to my left and there was one of the quail predator birds I have trouble with not 5 yards away just standing and watching me.
I fumbled just a bit being taken by surprise when it did not run away and took my shot. It was clean through knocking him off his feet. These are big armored feather birds but he was no match for the Compatto and JSB kings.
I see why KIp Perow said in a recent AOA video that the Compatto he was using was his own purchase. I HIGHLY recommend this gun. Daystate / Brocock hit the bulls eye dead center on this one!
The only irritation is the same one I have with all non US manufacturers who are stuck on fill probes that require an adapter to convert it to a standard male foster. All guns sent to the USA should be male foster native and not require any adapter.
