Brocock commander xr adjustable stock removal

Hi does anyone know how to remove the adjustable stock on the brocock commander xr so I can adjust the hammer spring and get my gun shooting closer to the UK legal limit at the moment it is shooting jsb 10.3grain pellets between 9.10 and10.2 foot pounds , I I use the gun mainly for shooting rats and a few rabbits out to 30yds and it has despatched them cleanly but would feel better shooting rabbits closer to the 12foot pound limit, i could send the gun back to brocock but thought in our present situation whith the lock down it will give me something to do and would like to maintain the gun myself ,thanks for any help and information and please stay safe

Assuming you're restricted to the UK 12fpe legal limit personally I wouldn't try to mess with it and or possibly void any warranty as well and assuming your version may have a lighter hammer spring anyway and or smaller restrictive transfer port and an anti tamper proof or locktited to avoid any legal liabilities from the manufacturer or worst case scenario even you. YO!

You don't have to remove the stock at all. When it's folded you will see the hole 🕳 to put a the Allen key in clockwise to increase or counter clockwise to lower

Hi thanks for your help just to say I have always maintained my airguns in the past most of them being theoben rapid 7 and kept them within the legal limit, part of the fun for me was to be able tune and maintain my gun and not have to wait week's for repairs I could do my self ,I understand where you are coming from regarding warranty and the the law,at this moment in time I can't take the gun back for someone to have a look at and thought if I could adjust the hammer spring it would probably sort it out ,

If you ever need to take the stock off, it's not hard at all, just pop out the friction tab flip-gate on the bottom of the AK-style grip and under it is a washered allen headed screw which will remove the pistol style grip. The entire stock will then slide out in a downward fashion similar to a taco shell. Hope this helps I own a Brocock Commander Hi-Lite (non XR series).
